Black Forest is a granite with a dark black-grey background, over which white and grey veins settle like forest branches — hence the name. It is quarried in southern India, in the Andhra Pradesh area, and is known as a stone with great variation: every slab has its own dramatic pattern.
Polished, the contrast between the dark background and the light veins stands out strongly, and the surface becomes a statement piece. It is used on countertops, decorative cladding, stairs and window sills, wherever the stone must make a statement.
As a granite, it is hard and resistant to daily wear. We recommend it for projects with character, where the stone's rich pattern is itself the argument.
