2. What we do
We import and distribute natural stone — granite, marble, travertine — in the form of slabs, steps, window sills, worktops, as well as funerary monuments, crosses and engraving and sandblasting work. We deliver with our own transport. Installation is not part of our services — for that we work with partner teams in the area and make the connection on request.
3. How ordering works
The site is a presentation site. Orders and payments cannot be made online, directly on the site.
- You send us your request through the quote form, by phone or on WhatsApp.
- We reply with a quote within 48 hours at most.
- The order is considered firm only after you confirm it in writing and, where applicable, pay the agreed advance.
- The contract is concluded in Romanian.
4. Prices
Prices are communicated through an individual quote, because they depend on the material, quantity, dimensions, finish, processing and transport. Any price displayed or communicated includes VAT, unless otherwise stated in the quote. The cost of transport is communicated separately, in the quote.
5. About natural stone — what you need to know
Natural stone is a product of nature. The shades, veining and pattern differ from one slab to another, even within the same variety. The photos on the site are for guidance only and cannot faithfully reproduce the real stone. That is why we recommend that you see the goods at the depot before ordering.
6. Delivery
We deliver with our own transport in the counties of Brăila, Galați, Tulcea, Buzău and Vrancea. The delivery time is set in the quote and depends on availability in stock and on the processing requested. Transport cost, delivery time and unloading conditions are set for each order individually and are stated in writing in the quote sent before the order is confirmed. There is no online sale on this website: every order starts from a written quote, which you accept before any contract is concluded.
7. Warranty and conformity
Products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity, in accordance with the legislation in force. Complaints regarding non-conformity are to be sent to the contact details above. the legal warranty of conformity, 2 years
8. Complaints and dispute resolution
Any complaint can be sent directly to 0770 939 118 or to contact@depozituldemarmura.ro. We try to resolve everything amicably.
If we do not reach an agreement, you can turn to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) or use the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedure: anpc.ro/ce-este-sal.
9. Intellectual property
The texts, photos and graphic elements on this site belong to PROPIATRA DISTRIBUȚIE S.R.L. and may not be taken over without written consent.
10. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. The applicable version is the one published on the site on the date of your order.

Who we share the data with
We do not sell or rent anyone's data. We may only pass it on to:
- the accounting firm and the tax authorities (for invoices);
- the site's hosting provider;
- {other partners — courier, payment processor, if applicable};
- public authorities, if the law requires us to.
What rights you have
Under the GDPR, you have the right:
- to find out what data we hold about you and to receive a copy;
- to ask for the correction of incorrect data;
- to ask for the erasure of the data ("the right to be forgotten");
- to ask for the restriction of processing or to object to the processing;
- to ask for the portability of the data to another controller;
- to withdraw your consent at any time, where the processing is based on it;

Data security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the data is held only by the people who need it in order to carry your order through to the end.
Children
Our services are not aimed at persons under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Cookies are small files that the site places in your browser. Some are necessary for the site to work, others help us understand how the site is used.

How you control them

Right of withdrawal
The general rule — 14 days
If you are a consumer (a natural person) and you buy at a distance, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any explanation. You notify us in writing, return the product, and we give you your money back within 14 days of receiving the return.
⚠️ The important exception — made-to-measure products
In accordance with art. 16 letter c) of GEO 34/2014, the 14-day right of withdrawal DOES NOT apply to products made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
In our case, this means: stone cut to the dimensions you requested, monuments engraved with names and dates, personalised work. Once cut or engraved, the stone can no longer be sold to anyone else.
Whole, unmodified slabs from stock can be returned under the conditions above.

Return costs
Return transport is paid by the customer, except where the product was delivered incorrectly, damaged, or not in line with the accepted quote — in which case we cover it. The exact condition is stated in the quote you accept.
