Maple Red, also known as G562 or Cenxi Red, is a Chinese granite from Guangxi province. It has a rich red background with black and grey specks, and the fine pattern recalls the maple leaf - hence the name.
We bring it in as a 2 cm half-slab, polished (intense colour, full gloss) or flamed (rough, non-slip surface, suited to outdoor use). The red comes out strong, so it is a stone that stands out.
It is used for countertops, paving, stair treads and window sills. For outdoor work, the flamed finish is the safe choice.
