What you should know about Aquamarine Granite

About this stone

Aquamarine is a granite with a light background and cool, blue-green highlights, scattered with grey tones. It is quarried in India and belongs to the family of light stones, sought after where a bright surface with personality is wanted.

Where it is used

Polished, the bluish highlights come to life and give the impression of a preferred stone for modern spaces. It lends itself well to countertops, window sills, stairs and interior cladding, especially combined with white tones and light wood.

Good to know

It withstands traffic and everyday wear, like any granite. We recommend it to those who want a stone that breaks out of the beige-brown pattern, with a cool and elegant note.

FAQ

Common questions

Is every slab really different?
Yes. Natural stone forms over millions of years, so no two slabs share the exact same pattern. That is why we invite you to pick your own slab at the depot.
How often should the stone be sealed?
For granite, roughly every 18–24 months depending on use; a kitchen worktop more often than a wall cladding. Marble needs sealing more often. We tell you exactly which product to use.
Can you match a backsplash to the worktop?
Yes — it is cut from the same block so the colour matches the worktop. We discuss this when you order.
